Attorney Zachuary Meranda was retained by a local college student to assist her with an underage consumption charge, a misdemeanor of the first degree carrying a maximum of 180 days incarceration and a $1,000.00 fine; and a fake ID charge, another misdemeanor of the first degree carrying a maximum of 180 days incarceration and a $1,000.00 fine. Through plea negotiations attorney Zachuary Meranda was able to get a plea offer where the client was able to complete an underage drinking program and 20 hours of community control. Once this was completed the case was dismissed for court cost.
